Chalet
Hi all! It seems like the holiday mood is not over yet! So before the school starts (awwwwwwww, oops thats for the rest of u! heheee) some peeps was thinking of some form of gathering like a chalet.
The dates would look sometime between next weekend or the weekend on O week itself. Before this can happen, we need to know who would be interested and who WILL come. No point booking a chalet and I play bridge with my other 3 alteregos or wadever u call it. HAHA
Yea pls email or sms me. I would at least need to know the rough response before I proceed with anything.
Thanks!
Nick

Besana Music Festival! [Updates]
Yo all well-wishers for the NUSWS Besana expedition!
This is the Besana grp #2 reporting from S'pore. Based on internet sources from the Besana festival webpage, it appears that our main party has arrived safely to the rendezvous point, to the warm welcome of our hosts =)
As you can see from the pic, the weather seems to be quite sunny, but our gracious hosts have plied NUSWS members with cool drinks like Sprite, Coke, Orange Juice. You can also see the scene where everyone is nicely seated along long serving tables (and the edge of a floral-patterned serving tray), which I believe further affirms the cool reception that NUSWS gotten.
[There's also this sideline issue of our host puzzling over why a particular member of the band likes to hug his bag at the dining table. See our host's kindly eyes .... maybe that member didn't sleep enough / need a bolster / got gold cylindrical bars in his bag? ..HAHAHAHA]

Besana!
This is end point of our opening and closing parades. This one shows the main band rehearsing their marching. On the left, you can see the white coloured "sheltered" area, and that is their open-air concert hall. That is where we'll perform if we are to play in Besana. There are other places in the area that we will be performing. Will try and get some more videos or pics or whatever. The big building in front is the church.
Another video about the marching band segment. I know what our double reeds players can do already! Haha.. MASCOT! Wauahah.. Nah just kidding.. Maybe take the banner. LOL.
Anyway, I found out that we have quite a large number of bands going this year. They are from Colombia, Lithuania, Holland, Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. This is besides the usual Italian bands that will be there.
