Brass Quintet

Syai and his brass quintet will find this ultimately familiar! hahaa!

it's a good thing these 4 trombonists are not taking part in the ensemble competition.. haha

How many conductors does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, but then again, who's really watching?

How many flautists does it take to change a light bulb?
Two. One to twist the bulb for several hours, and the other one to decide that it's as good as it's going to get, and that they might as well flip the switch.

How many clarinetists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Only one, but he'll go through a whole box of bulbs before he finds just the right one.

How many sax players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five. One to change the bulb and four to contemplate how David Sanborn would have done it.

How many French horn players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Just one, but he'll spend two hours checking the bulb for alignment and leaks.

How many trumpet players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five. One to handle the bulb and four to tell him how much better they could have done it.

How many trombonists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Just one, but he'll do it too loudly.

How many tuba players does it take to change a light bulb?
Three! One to hold the bulb and two to drink 'till the room spins.

How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
1. "Why? Oh, wow! Is it like dark, man?"
2. Only one, but he'll break ten bulbs before figuring out that they can't just be pushed in.
3. Two: one to hold the bulb, and one to turn his throne (but only after they figure out that you have to turn the bulb).
4. Twenty. One to hold the bulb, and nineteen to drink until the room spins.
5. None. They have a machine to do that.

Hey guys, we jus had an outing to The Mind Cafe @ Boat Quay! Sad to say last minute people couldnt come. That left 5 souls playing and savoring the many-ice-cream-that-came-with-the-nice-desserts-which-put-together-can-be-simulated-as-a-poor-rendition-of-swensen's Earth Quake

Or about the resident family of hornbills or of plantations that speak of times long past?
Essentially clueless about Pulau Ubin, Singapore's time capsule?

Take a journey on bicycle with the Jungle Fowls, a bunch of friendly volunteer guides from NUS' Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research, and discover the nature and heritage of Pulau Ubin. Even novice cyclists are welcome! If you can balance yourself on a bike, you will survive the ride!

The next Pedal Ubin! rides: * Sunday, 11th June 2006 * Saturday, 8th July 2006 * Sunday, 13th August 2006 All rides 8 a.m. to noon (or thereabouts).

The charge is $10.50 (inclusive GST) per participant. If you bring your own bicycle, the charge is $7.35.

The Minds Cafe Outing

Hi guys, there is a proposed outing to the Minds Cafe at the boat quay this coming Friday, 9th June.

Anyway the costs per person depends on package. Depending on how long we stay there too. I really cant tell you how much it would cost. :)
