AUDITIONSEA
This' how it looks like.
You need only5 keys to play this game
- the 4 arrow buttons & the spacebar.
Once u see those arrow signs appearing, u can start hitting your arrow buttons.
There's no need to be in beat while u hit those arrows,
you can just key them in as soon as you see the next line appearing.
After hitting the sequence of arrows,
(provided u hit them correctly)
u gonna hit the spacebar, at the white portion of the bar in the game.
And that white portion usually coincides with the 1st beat of a 4/4 bar.
That's the only time u've to be in beat.
If u are able to hit exactly on that beat(where the white portion is),
u see a "PERFECT" over your head.
If u are just that slightly off-beat, it will be a "GREAT" instead,
followed by "COOL", "BAD" & "MISS".
"PERFECT" gets you the most points, and so on.
"MISS" gets nothing.
So players on the dancefloor are basically competing each other.
You see a player ranking table in the bottom right corner,
that's why u see the ranking always fluctuates.
After every sequence of arrows,
you are awarded the number of points based on your performance for that sequence.
- to hit all arrows & hit the 1st beat accurately.
The person with the most points at any point of time
gets to be the the centre of attraction & dance in front.
After every game,
you are rewarded with EXPERIENCE POINTS & MONEY,
based on your final ranking & performace for that game.
Experience points - well just to increase level like normal RPG games.
Money - You can buy yourself nice clothes.
I started a girl's account cos the girls have got nicer clothes.
So this game is a very good test of
SIGHT-READING
RHYTHMIC SENSE
&
your ability to stay calm,
cos the arrow sequences can get rather annoying sometimes.
Download information
Go HERE.
Click on "Download Game Client" on the left.
Warning: Game size is appromximately 600+mb
Next, u gonna create an account.
On the mainpage, u see "SIGN UP" on the left column.
So the registration follows from there.
Any problems regarding how to enter game/how to play,
feel free to sms me. xD
Many players can play at any one time,
so it's a perfect game for the band folks to play together at nite.
They have got many many songs to "dance to",
remixes .... techno .... trance ... those familiar mandarin songs.
And many different levels.
The one shown above is of elementary level.
Most importantly, it's FREE!
Just dun get too addicted to the game.
Want to challenge me can msg me.
No worry,
I started the game not long ago &
my sight-reading for the arrows sux.
This is a practice makes perfect game.
Here's a level-6 stage.
Involves the diagonals

some lame band jokes for the bored.. =p
How many conductors does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, but then again, who's really watching?
How many flautists does it take to change a light bulb?
Two. One to twist the bulb for several hours, and the other one to decide that it's as good as it's going to get, and that they might as well flip the switch.
How many clarinetists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Only one, but he'll go through a whole box of bulbs before he finds just the right one.
How many sax players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five. One to change the bulb and four to contemplate how David Sanborn would have done it.
How many French horn players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Just one, but he'll spend two hours checking the bulb for alignment and leaks.
How many trumpet players does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five. One to handle the bulb and four to tell him how much better they could have done it.
How many trombonists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Just one, but he'll do it too loudly.
How many tuba players does it take to change a light bulb?
Three! One to hold the bulb and two to drink 'till the room spins.
How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
1. "Why? Oh, wow! Is it like dark, man?"
2. Only one, but he'll break ten bulbs before figuring out that they can't just be pushed in.
3. Two: one to hold the bulb, and one to turn his throne (but only after they figure out that you have to turn the bulb).
4. Twenty. One to hold the bulb, and nineteen to drink until the room spins.
5. None. They have a machine to do that.

cycling at pulau ubin anyone?
How did Ubin get its name?
Who was the German girl?
Did you know about the monk who walked here from Thailand?
Or about the resident family of hornbills or of plantations that speak of times long past?
Essentially clueless about Pulau Ubin, Singapore's time capsule?
Take a journey on bicycle with the Jungle Fowls, a bunch of friendly volunteer guides from NUS' Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research, and discover the nature and heritage of Pulau Ubin. Even novice cyclists are welcome! If you can balance yourself on a bike, you will survive the ride!
The next Pedal Ubin! rides: * Sunday, 11th June 2006 * Saturday, 8th July 2006 * Sunday, 13th August 2006 All rides 8 a.m. to noon (or thereabouts).
The charge is $10.50 (inclusive GST) per participant. If you bring your own bicycle, the charge is $7.35.
